Cloud Security Architect - GCP & Kubernetes HYBRID Contract

We're searching for a Cloud Security Architect to support a major cloud transformation initiative. This is a high-visibility role within a strategic team focused on integrating security into GCP and Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security controls for GCP and Kubernetes platforms
• Lead integration of tools including SSO, JIRA, ServiceNow, and CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to embed security from design to deployment
• Provide mentorship on cloud security best practices and contribute to system architecture

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in IT, with 3+ years in security architecture
• 4+ years designing software security controls
• 3+ years of experience with GCP and 2+ years with Kubernetes
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to lead with minimal ramp-up

Security certifications like CISSP are a plus.
