SUMMARY:

Are you a seasoned hospitality professional looking to expand your expertise across multiple brand-new locations in Downtown Toronto? Arch Amenities Group the leading provider of amenities management and consulting services for commercial and residential spaces is seeking a Concierge Ambassador to join our expanding team! The Concierge Ambassador will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for all individuals entering the building by providing outstanding hospitality services. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role is essential in creating a warm and welcoming environment for tenants, guests, and visitors in Toronto

Responsibilities:

Create a Warm and Welcoming Environment:

• Greet and welcome all individuals entering the building with a friendly and professional attitude.

• Ensure that the lobby and other common areas are presentable, clean, and inviting.

• Assist in creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for tenants, guests, and visitors.

Independent and Team Collaboration:

• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Operate from a desk or other mobile stations on the property as required.

• Cover multiple buildings in Downtown Toronto throughout the week.

Concierge Services:

• Open doors and offer assistance in escorting individuals to their desired destinations within the building.

• Provide water and other refreshments to tenants, guests, and visitors.

• Offer wayfinding assistance to ensure a seamless navigation experience.

Visitor Check-In Process:

• Manage and troubleshoot the visitor check-in process by following established protocols

• Ensure a smooth and efficient check-in experience for all guests.

• Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality when handling visitor information.

Tenant Engagement and Events:

• Support tenant engagement events in an outgoing and engaging manner.

• Assist in planning and organizing social events to foster community among tenants, under the direction of the Hospitality Manager.

• Actively promote and encourage tenant participation in building activities.

Area Research:

• Conduct research on local area happenings, dining options, activities, festivals, road closures, and commute nuisances.

• Keep abreast of current and upcoming events that may impact tenant experiences.

• Provide helpful information and recommendations to tenants and guests. Rental Initiatives and Support:

• Assist the Hospitality Manager in tenant engagement and meeting rental initiatives.

• Foster positive relationships with tenants and continuously strive to improve tenant satisfaction.

• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of tenants, building standard operating procedures (SOPs), and local area restaurants, activities, and events.

Security and check-in procedures:

• Check tenants and guests into the building while adhering to security protocols.

• Properly verify identification and issue visitor passes as necessary.

• Monitor building access points and report any suspicious activities promptly.

Workspace Management:

• Ensure work and reception areas are neat and orderly with all personal items stowed away (eating and drinking not allowed at work areas).

• Avoid all building gossip and negative conversations.

• Foster a positive and professional work environment at all times.

• Any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Characteristics of an ideal candidate:

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of Downtown Toronto area attractions, restaurants, and events.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient in using computer systems and software applications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 1 year experience in high-end hospitality, luxury retail, fine dining or related field
