Location & Travel:
- This role is based in Calgary, with travel as necessary to service the territory.
What You'll Do:
The Solutions Consultant - Direct Programs is responsible for selling and expanding WD Co-Auto's portfolio of direct programs in collaboration with vendor representatives. These programs include Staples Professional, Van Houtte Coffee, Canadian Linen Rentals, Esso Petro & Shell gasoline, Clover credit card services, and more. This role focuses on closing leads provided by WD Co-Auto Solutions Consultants, developing new business within existing customers, working closely with vendor reps, and driving program adoption and growth through effective execution in the areas below.
Sales & Business
- Close leads generated by Solutions Consultants, working with existing customers to drive program adoption.
- Conduct outreach and follow-ups to grow sales within WD Co-Auto's network.
- Work directly with vendor representatives to align on sales strategies and joint selling opportunities.
- Present program solutions to customers, explaining benefits and cost advantages.
Vendor & Customer Relationship Management
- Collaborate with vendor reps to drive sales, coordinate strategies, and support program success.
- Maintain strong relationships with dealership customers, providing education and support on program benefits.
- Attend joint sales calls and training sessions with Solutions Consultants to enhance program awareness and adoption.
Forecasting & Reporting
- Track and maintain sales data in HubSpot and Power BI to monitor program performance.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on sales progress and opportunities for growth.
- Ensure accurate forecasting of new program sales and account expansion.
Training & Support
- Support Solutions Consultants by providing program expertise and assisting in closing sales.
- Conduct formal and on-the-road training sessions for dealership customers to increase engagement.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in B2B sales, automotive, or vendor program management.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with sales and vendor partners.
- Experience using HubSpot and Power BI is an asset.
