The Role:

Alteri Insurance is looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial Level 2 Licensed Insurance Producer to join our high-performance team in Yaletown, Vancouver (or remote). This is a commission-based role ideal for someone who wants to own their success, build a book of business, and be part of a rapidly growing, tech-forward brokerage backed by strategic investor Southampton Financial.

As a Producer, you'll focus on new business generation and relationship-driven sales, with access to a wide range of markets and support infrastructure to help you scale your income. You'll be the face of Alteri to your clients-offering tailored solutions across personal and commercial insurance lines.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Proactively prospect, qualify, and convert leads into new business.
  • Build, manage, and grow a personal portfolio of clients across commercial and/or personal lines.
  • Assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate, customized insurance solutions.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell additional lines of business based on client needs.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships with a focus on renewals and retention.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and underwriters; ensure quotes and coverage are aligned with client needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on insurer guidelines, coverage offerings, and market conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records in EPIC and other digital platforms.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • General Insurance License Level 2 (or higher) in British Columbia.
  • 3+ years' experience in insurance, with strong knowledge of both personal and commercial lines.
  • A hunter mindset-self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in lead generation.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative sales skills.
  • Proficiency in EPIC and insurer portals is a strong asset.
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism, and customer service.
  • Experience managing high-value or complex risks is a bonus.
