Your new role
- Has deep knowledge of manufacturing or assembling process of procured material or equipment with more complex engineered items.
- Obtain the Suppliers planned schedule and monitor Supplier's actual progress and key milestones; update and periodically distribute the MSR (material status report) to the Business Unit client.
- Monitor sub-Supplier progress if required for milestone payment purposes.
- Periodically obtain verification from the Business Unit Client on the material ROS (required on site) date - Confirm the Suppliers RTS (ready to ship) date when the Supplier nears order completion, and update the MSR.
- Compare the ROS and RTS dates, and estimated transportation time, in order to ensure meeting the Business Unit.
What you'll need to succeed
- High school diploma or technical certificate; higher education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is advantageous
- Several years of experience in expediting, preferably within the oil and gas industry
- Ability to coordinate and manage projects, ensuring all materials and equipment are delivered on schedule
