Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a CNC Operator to join our client in the robotics industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines and 3D printers to produce production and engineering parts according to specifications. The CNC Operator will ensure that products meet quality standards and production goals while maintaining an efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines

Perform post CNC tasks such as painting, using a router, drilling and grinding.

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions to determine

machine settings and specifications.

Program CNC machines using programming languages as required.

Load raw materials and prepare a test run to ensure accuracy of machine settings.

Monitor the machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain

product quality and consistency.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operations and programming.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines.

Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineers.

Document and report production data, including machine settings, production output,

and quality control results.

Must Haves

- 1+ year experience operating a CNC machine

- Experience programming a CNC machine with software such as VCarve or Mastercam

- Strong ability to read blue prints/schematics in software such as SolidWorks

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow safety protocols

Logistics:

  • Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Role Environment: On-Site, Monday-Friday
  • Hourly Rate: $23-$25/hr
