Lauden is a leader in mechanical contracting, operates out of a 25,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, and utilizes 3D modeling and prefabrication to excel in the industry. Lauden takes pride in being organized on and off-site and provides employees with a weekly and monthly look-ahead schedule. This job includes cooperating with the administrative and prefabrication teams and going to the site to complete the installation. The applicant must be a team player who is self-motivated, has strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and problem-solving skills. The applicant must also be able to follow the process, use technology, and be reliable.

Daily: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm

Responsibilities:
- Lead a project from start to finish with the support of management. Effectively run a team of apprentices and laborers.
- Communicate daily with our clients and provide them with a high level of service.
- Daily communication and direction to our subcontractors (HVAC, Sprinkler, Controls, Insulation)
- Engage and keep all onsite staff & subcontractors accountable.
- Keep the overall site organized and efficient.
- Lead material management for all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Advanced understanding of overall mechanical systems, including but not limited to:
Underground & above grade drainage systems in PVC, SDR and Ultra rib
Water distribution systems in copper, pex and CPVC
Natural gas systems in threaded and welded carbon steel
Hot water heating and cooling systems in threaded, welded and grooved carbon steel
Boilers, water heaters, air handling units, humidifiers, pumps & heat exchangers
Plumbing fixtures
Heating terminal units, including radiant panel, unit heaters, reheat coils, and force flows
- Ability to see what's next and plan accordingly.
- Identify obstructions and barriers and work with management to get them removed.
- Forecast manpower and be able to identify scheduling conflicts.
