Expertise to have -

WCAG 2.1 or 2.2 standards expertise and a Section 508 certified trusted tester

Experience with accessibility testing on both web and mobile platforms

Experience with design reviews

Screen reader expertise with JAWS/NVDA / VoiceOver / Talkback, ARIA, ADA

Be able to describe accessibility issues and recommendations for resolving them to non subject matter expert engineers. (Bug reporting)

Some debugging skills, able to convey and explain bug causes and a11y concepts to non a11y subject matter experts using minimal step reproduction cases.
