12 month contract + possible extensions
Hybrid 2x per week in Toronto + travel
Pay: $22-25/hr T4
Must haves:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or events coordination
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Able to travel weekly and travel across the East coast (Ontario to Newfoundland)
- Experience with brand communications, creative, and media strategy (traditional and digital)
- Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
- Strong field presence and adaptability between office and on-site work
- Hold your full G license and have access to a vehicle
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of marketing strategy and business principles
- Familiarity with budget tracking and KPI reporting
Job Description:
This role supports the execution of in-store marketing campaigns, grand openings, and local advertising initiatives across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Reporting to a Senior Manager, the In-Store Marketing Specialist is an early-career brand marketing role focused on delivering seamless campaign execution through detailed coordination, field support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of grand opening events, including local store advertising and on-site marketing setup
- Coordinate with internal and external creative teams, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and incorporating stakeholder feedback
- Manage the deployment of marketing campaigns, monitor performance in real-time, and implement adjustments based on optimization needs
- Participate in post-campaign reporting and analysis, including compiling key metrics and documenting learnings
- Assist with budget planning and maintenance, update project status reports, and contribute to research and dashboard tracking
