PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
PUBLIC RELATIONS
- Represent the Public Relations (PR) team and assist in the development and execution of strategies, product placement, editorial reporting and analysis
- Support the Marketing team across all marketing initiatives, campaigns and social media platforms with new ideas, development and execution
- Daily monitoring of press coverage and the creation of monthly press reports, project summaries, and event recaps
- Support and facilitate press placements through sample loans, editor/influencer gifting and event
- Assist with stylist, influencer and editor appointments for collection pulls and appointments
- Coordinate tools needed to secure press coverage for celebrity dressing, media relations, special initiatives and events
- Assist team to develop materials, briefings, on-site support and coordinate events and press days
- Coordinate press mailers and seeding, including material sourcing, packaging, and distribution
- Handle administrative duties, such as processing and tracking invoices, and inputting into the PR calendar
- Maintain media lists and build relationships with media representatives across all platforms (print, digital, broadcast, etc.)
PARTNERSHIPS
- Support corporate communications tactics such as presentations and research
- Support all aspects of events, from planning to logistics and execution which may occur during work or evening hours or weekends
- Prepare and edit company publications, including website and product copy, blog posts, media releases, and more
- Assist with the upload of website content (i.e. images, articles, video, press coverage and website copy)
- Assist with preparation and delivery of photoshoots, in-house and external events
- Keep on top of the latest digital social innovations, trends, launches, and up-and-coming influencers
- Act as Company customer service and sales back-up for the Customer Service team, servicing client walk-ins, providing product and brand knowledge and exceptional personable service to each client
- Sales support for Trunk Shows and private shopping events
- Liaise with VIP clientele and high priority contacts to build relationships on behalf of the Company
- Support director with management and execution of retail partners, organizing and coordinating PK's, follow-up
- Create weekly sales reports to help director analyze action points, putting those next steps into action
- Some travel may be required
- Other administrative duties may apply
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, E-commerce, Marketing or relevant field
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading
- High attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and the ability to spot errors
- Natural self-starter, with ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline oriented entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to think creatively, problem-solve and generate new ideas
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
