Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join a top bank in downtown Toronto for a 6-month contract to support financial operations. The consultant will be essential to support a general ledger project focused on migrating from using two databases to solely using S/4HANA. This Senior Analyst will be responsible for mapping and analyzing hierarchies between S/4HANA and the downstream system to ensure the accounting reporting is correctly mapped for the IFRS and US GAP standards. Previous experience within a large financial institution working with large datasets is critical for the role. The successful candidate will have previous experience mapping hierarchies and be familiar with S/4HANA. This role required someone who is a self-starter, organized, and is great at cross-collaboration.

Must-haves:

- 5-7 years working with large datasets, including mapping hierarchies.

- Experience within large financial institutions.

- Confident working with large datasets, including running queries.

- Familiarity with S/4HANNA (preferably previous experience).

- Financial product knowledge, such as types of loans and deposits.

- Great communication and organization skills.
