The Role

We're looking for a Planner to join our team. You'll contribute to a variety of projects-from policy and zoning by-law reviews to planning approvals, site plan applications, research, and presentations. You'll also provide strategic advice to clients and help shape planning outcomes across Ontario.

What You'll Do

Support and lead components of planning studies and development applications;

Prepare and review planning reports, policy documents, and presentations;

Conduct research and analysis on planning policy, zoning by-laws, and site plans;

Work directly with public and private sector clients; and,

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner firms.

What You Bring

A degree in Urban Planning (or related field). A Master's/Graduate degree is considered an asset.

1-5 years of work experience in the public sector or at a consulting firm, preferably within land use planning.

Preference for a Registered Professional Planner or ability to obtain RPP designation within 6 months of hire.

Experience with Ontario planning policy and approvals processes. Projects within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) considered an asset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and GIS software.

Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.
