Pharmacy Manager

We are recruiting for a Designated Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations at a well-established pharmacy in downtown Toronto. About the Role

As the Designated Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading the pharmacy team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing operations to deliver outstanding patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a specialty pharmacy setting, where experience with HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C care is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management - Oversee pharmacists and pharmacy assistants, providing coaching, training, and support.
• Dispensary Operations - Ensure accurate and efficient prescription fulfillment while maintaining compliance with OCP, NAPRA, and other regulations.
• Collaboration - Work closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to enhance patient care, including medication therapy management and immunizations.
• Business Development - Identify opportunities to grow the pharmacy's services and revenue while managing operational expenses.
• Regulatory Compliance - Implement and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain the highest safety and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• Active Part A pharmacy license in Ontario (unencumbered)
• 3+ years of experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting
• Proven leadership experience managing pharmacy operations and teams
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices
• Experience in specialty pharmacy or knowledge of HIV and Hepatitis care is an asset
