Typical Day in Role
• Utilize Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce to track changes and write test scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers to understand changes and execute tests.
• Plan and execute tests, working closely with the business, manager, and Salesforce developers to ensure quality in the QAT environment.
Summary
The main function of a QA Analyst is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities. This includes test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, as well as follow-up and issue resolution.
Job Responsibilities
- Working with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
- Execute Test Plans: Develop and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- System Modifications: Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
- Develop Testing Programs: Create testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
- Document Software Defects: Using JIRA and Confluence for bug tracking system to document software defects and report them to software developers.
- Problem Analysis: Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screens, or content.
- Monitor Bug Resolution: Track bug resolution efforts and monitor successes.
- Plan Test Schedules: Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 0-2 years of experience in software testing.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce.
- Experience in writing test documentation such as test plans, scripts, and test results reports.
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results and provide recommendations for improvement.
Education:
Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required.
