Technical Services Manager - Mining Technology
We are partnered with a global leader in mining technology solutions, offering solutions for both exploration and operations. We are partnered with them on a new position, Technical Services Manager, who will be responsible for leading a team specialising in technical presales, customer success and product support for their comprehensive geological exploration & modelling solutions.
Strong leadership experience of technical presales & customer success teams is essential for this role, as well as being based in Vancouver or willing to relocate.
Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the sales team by managing, coordinating and delivering technical support during pre-sales demonstrations, trade shows, and other promotional events as requested
- Coordinating development and delivery of client-services programs and projects
- Identifying, monitoring and reporting on process improvement opportunities and work with the Product Management team to contribute to the ongoing improvement of products
- Ensuring that clients are supported by high quality technical resources on an ongoing basis
- Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships alongside Business Development Managers
- Providing training to current and new software users.
Essentials
- 8+ years leadership experience of technical presales, product management & customer success teams.
- 5+ years' hands-on experience with Geological or Mining software products.
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
- Based in Vancouver or willing to relocate (relocation support offered).
