Role Overview

The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for generating Brenlo revenue by successfully processing orders and quotation requests from existing accounts and potential new customers received by telephone, email or fax. As well as supporting assigned OSR requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Receives orders and quotation inquiries by phone, Email and fax from both existing accounts and new customers.

2. Acts as product expert and clarifies the details of the request and provides product information, estimates and potential alternatives and solutions to close the sale.

3. Confirms product availability, details, specifications and delivery dates with Production Manager, logistics department and/or others to confirm the final quote and/or sales order details.

4. Tracks progress of order to ensure that Brenlo is meeting customer expectations.

5. Resolves customer complaints regarding delivery and quality with production and shipping personnel. Escalates difficult customer problems to management as needed.

6. Processes payments - cash, Visa, etc.

7. Follows-up with their customers/accounts to ensure that they are satisfied.

8. Maintains close contact with customers and answers relevant questions.

9. Understands customers' specific preferences and needs - sends samples and literature to customers to advance the request

10. Actively pursues new business via weekly cold calling program

Teamwork - Works responsively and collaboratively with teammates; Shares information in a timely manner; Works with others to resolve outstanding issues.

NOTE: May be assigned other responsibilities based on the changing needs of the business or its customers/accounts.

Skills Required:

1. Product knowledge- essential that inside sales reps are able to represent the full line of Brenlo products accurately to both existing and prospective customers

2. Application of products - basic knowledge of design to ensure that mouldings and other products fit the style required and that the right alternatives for customers are discussed

3. Knowledge of production process to estimate schedules and constraints

4. Problem solving - provide acceptable alternatives and solutions in order to close the sale

5. Communications - persuade and successful negotiate terms to close the sale; provide clear information

6. Customer/account service - responds quickly and adequately to roadblocks and issues that interfere with the order

7. Sales processing - processes sales and returns within guidelines

8. Interpersonal - build rapport with customer; represents Brenlo with integrity and honesty

9. Organizational - multitasks and prioritizes customer requests and administrative workload effectively

10. Communicates well within the organization to meet customer requirements (accounting, operations & Outside sales)

Measures of Success

1. Inbound Sales from existing customers/accounts - repeat business

2. Inbound Sales from new customers/accounts - new business

3. Closed sales/Overall value of quotations amounts provided to customers and prospects

4. Number of customer complaints or errors with orders

5. Customer satisfaction results

6. Response time to resolve any problems with customer's orders

7. Adheres to Brenlo's operating and sales procedures

8. Respectful, accurate and timely communication with others

9. Quote win rate

10. Cold calls per week
