Join their team as a Business Solutions Analyst!

In this position, you would be leader in the analytics consulting process, helping our clients draw clear links between unprocessed data and actionable insights. You will work directly with clients to gather requirements, manage projects, and ensure the appropriate deliverables (custom Power BI dashboards, custom web apps, etc.) are provided on-time and on-budget.

This is an incredible opportunity to play a major client-facing role, while learning and growing your analytics knowledge through cross-functional collaboration.

What will you be doing?

• Project management of customized data solutions projects for our clients (Power BI dashboard, web app, API, etc.)
• Requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis
• Conduct client interviews, communicate project updates, and generate reports
• Represent the company in a positive light by competently and confidently presenting solutions to clients and facilitating Q&A
• Cost-benefit analyses that balance client requests with client budget
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, database, and software developers to mock-up solutions, determine scope, and settle on deliverables
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Ongoing client support

What we're looking for

• Post-secondary education in business, computer science, or engineering
• 2+ years of professional experience (client-facing experience an asset)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Analytical thinking skills and the ability to ask insightful questions
• Passion for learning
• A keen sense of ownership over projects
• Confidence to execute in an ambiguous environment (while knowing your limits)
• Ability to empathize and listen to both clients and team members
• Organized, with reliable systems to manage your time and priorities within a fast-paced environment and meet commitments

Additional skills we'd be interested to hear about

• Understanding of Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or other cloud computing services
• Experience with GitHub, databases, or web apps
