We are seeking a skilled and motivated Conveyancer to join our dynamic Property Law team at Clark Woods LLP. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring a seamless and efficient transfer of property ownership for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage residential and commercial property transactions from inception to completion.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, leases, and title deeds.
- Conduct property searches and liaise with local authorities, surveyors, and other relevant parties.
- Provide expert advice to clients on property-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
- Facilitate communication between buyers, sellers, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Attend to post-completion formalities, such as registering ownership with the Land Registry.
- Keep abreast of changes in property law and conveyancing practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Conveyancer or Solicitor with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in conveyancing.
- Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage a high caseload and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using conveyancing software and other relevant IT tools.
- A proactive and client-focused approach to work.
