Bilingual Developer, with ServiceNow experience

You will work as part of a Service Management team on various cloud platforms, supporting development and configuration activities in all aspects: including design, testing, peer reviews and more. You will provide expertise in the development and implementation of changes and customer service enhancements.

Job Details

• Lead in the design and development of solutions appropriate to business and systems requirements within the target platform
• Participate in peer reviews of technical specifications of client requirements and schedules
• Develop, write, and test applications, hardware interface, systems interconnection software, and identify, define, and correct maintenance problems
• Identify opportunities and assist in the research and recommendation of forward-thinking initiatives to advance functionality / performance and reduce costs
• Provide accurate and timely Level of Effort (LOE) analysis estimates for requested solutions of varying sizes
• Participate in code-walkthroughs and provide feedback to other team members
• Create clear, concise, and standard technical documentation and specifications for solutions and provides input into relevant documentation prepared by other groups
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving for new applications/system modification within the team and provides solutions which promote best practices and standard procedures

Job Requirements

• University/College Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Systems, Math, Engineering
• A minimum of three years of experience as a Software/Application Developer
• Experience coding with JavaScript
• A minimum of two years of demonstrable ServiceNow development and configuration experience
• Experience in debugging and code optimization
• Experience analyzing, recommending, designing, and implementing solutions appropriate to the core technologies used, including an understanding of the Core Functionality, Reporting, Interfaces, Customizations and Extensions and how each will fit into the existing environment
• Knowledge of software development and testing process from preliminary design to formal testing and acceptance
• Knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software languages, test, debug, software development, software generation and configuration management tools
• Knowledge of ServiceNow modules and their capabilities from a software/application development and configuration perspective
• Current knowledge of industry trends and developments with respect to existing and evolving computer languages and technologies, productivity tools, user problems, communications equipment, and systems suppliers, etc.
• Ability to provide expert advice, guidance, and opinions in area of specialization
• Ability to lead moderately complex to complex projects
• Skilled in analyzing and solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing, and implementing solutions to complex technical issues
• Ability to analyze business processes and requirements and adapt them into technical designs
• Strong bilingual (English/French) verbal and written communication skills
