Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Supervisor to oversee and execute maintenance

operations. This role is 80% on-site handling maintenance, repairs, and project supervision, and

20% in-office for coordination, invoicing, and paperwork. The ideal candidate is a hands-on

leader with technical expertise and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site Responsibilities (80%)

• Perform various general maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, drywall, painting, basic plumbing, tiling, grouting, caulking, and minor electrical work.
• Lead small maintenance and repair projects from start to finish, across industrial and commercial properties ensuring timely completion.
• Conduct regular inspections and proactively identify repair needs.
• Read and interpret mechanical and architectural drawings to execute work accurately and efficiently.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ensure work meets safety standards, building codes, and company quality expectations.
• Maintain clean, organized job sites and properly handle tools, materials, and equipment.
• Operate and drive a Cube Van for transporting tools and supplies as needed.

In-Office Responsibilities (20%)

• Order materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure projects are well-prepared.
• Schedule work and trades, ensuring smooth execution of maintenance projects.
• Process invoices, maintain accurate job records, and follow up on outstanding tasks.
• Maintain organized documentation and reports for projects and service calls.
• Coordinate with trades or clients to understand repair needs.

Who You Are:

• Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a similar role.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the go.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is an asset.
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract (comfortable driving a Cube Van).
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Have their own tools.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Able to take initiative and follow through on responsibilities.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
