Field Service Engineer - Medical Imaging
Location: Toronto (Canada)
A leading company in the development, manufacturing, and servicing of advanced nuclear medicine imaging systems is looking for Field Service Engineers to support its growing customer base in Toronto . The company is pioneering the shift from analog to digital detection technology in SPECT imaging, helping clinicians deliver better care at lower cost.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site and remote technical support for software, firmware, networking, and clinical applications.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience by taking full ownership of issue resolution and follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Service, Operations, Engineering) to improve product reliability and serviceability.
- Support new product launches and first-of-a-kind system installations.
- Provide status updates to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Serve as a technical resource and customer advocate.
- Collaborate with Sales and Applications teams to provide technical support when needed.
- Suggest improvements in tools, training, and processes to boost field efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical/electronic equipment.
- 3+ years of experience installing or servicing medical imaging systems (CT and Nuclear preferred).
- Solid computer skills, especially with software installations and system upgrades.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel (up to 30%, including occasional air travel).
- Based within 100 miles of Toronto or Philadelphia.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
