are searching for a driven, people-focused National Commercial Sales Manager to lead our commercial sales efforts!
Under the direction of the VP of Sales, this role will lead the commercial sales team to achieve planned sales results. The National Commercial Sales Manager will actively coach and motivate current and new employees to generate new lead sources and expand Fuzion's customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management
- Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and budget controls
- Recruit, develop, train and supervise sales employees
- Set individual sales targets with the sales team to ensure sales targets are met
- Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team on a regular basis
- Consistently motivate and drive sales team performance through weekly and monthly sales review meetings and provide strong sales leadership
- Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with clients and internal departments to create a better customer experience
- Develop sales strategies and set quotas for different areas of commercial work that includes low rise and high-rise builders, property management, mainstream commercial and hospitality.
- Monitor competition, economic indicators and industry trends
- Develop sales strategies to acquire new customers and clients
Business Development
- Develop goals for the sales team and business growth, and ensure they are met.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Create first level relationships with key clients based on trust and respect
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain product value
Organization and people
- Provide leadership and support to sales team daily
- Coach and travel with sales members regularly
- Recruit, select and mentor sales team
Knowledge & Skills Required
- 5 years in floor covering sales management
- Proven track record of leading, coaching and motivating a high-performing sales team
- Strong skills in identifying opportunities, developing new business, and expanding existing accounts
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Clear, persuasive communicator across all levels - internal teams, executives, and clients.
- College diploma or undergraduate degree in business or related field
- Ability to travel as required (approximately 25%)
