Job Description:

As a Host/Hostess, you'll set the tone for each guest's experience, offering a warm welcome and managing the flow of the dining room with efficiency and grace. You'll balance reservation coordination with walk-in traffic, all while ensuring exceptional guest service from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a warm, professional demeanor
• Manage reservations and waitlists using reservation software
• Coordinate seating with servers and management to optimize flow
• Provide accurate wait times and ensure guests feel welcome while waiting
• Answer phones and assist with inquiries or bookings
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the entrance and host stand
• Support the team during peak hours with guest service or special requests
• Communicate clearly with all front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in a host or guest-facing role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Comfortable using reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable or similar)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong sense of hospitality
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
