We are currently searching for an ambitious Senior Production Supervisor to join our Global manufacturing team in London, Ontario.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, our ideal candidate is a hands-on, collaborative leader who leads by example. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervise team members, oversee production schedules and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and optimize resources
  • Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production targets
  • Develop and optimize production schedules to ensure efficiency and timely delivery
  • Monitor daily performance metrics, proactively addressing issues to ensure continuous operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership facilitating cross-functional collaboration to implement process enhancements and integrate new products
  • Monitor and enhance quality control while maintaining compliance with safety regulations
  • Lead and mentor staff, ensuring training and development to drive performance
  • Implement CI programs (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity
  • Develop and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations
  • Exhibit sound judgment, making timely and strategic decisions to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Champion a safety first culture, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a clean, organized work environment through 5S methodology
  • Other projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post Secondary education in Manufacturing or Production Management or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement (CI), 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and other Lean tools
  • Engages and collaborates with diverse business stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic problem-solver who demonstrates strong decision making abilities with a results-oriented approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability while effectively managing time-sensitive challenges
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide teams
  • Proficiency in using and applying Microsoft Office applications
