As our Marketing Coordinator, you will execute marketing-related functions with a high degree of organization, time management and confidentiality and provide support to the sales team to facilitate the company's strategic growth plans, with a focus on written content, graphic design and social media.
Position Overview:
Content Development and Brand Identity
- Develop high-quality written content for a variety of platforms including client proposals, blogs, case studies, website content, social media, press releases, and internal communications.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with FWS's brand voice and corporate identity, maintaining consistency across all written materials.
- Provide content for print media (advertisements, exhibits and displays, signage, educational material, brochures, logos, business publications, monthly bulletins, etc.).
Marketing Support & Administration
- Draft and format internal and external correspondence, reports, presentations, and project documentation with accuracy and professionalism.
- Assist in the development and execution of media campaigns and promotional strategies, with a focus on content and message development.
- Coordinate logistics and provide support for trade shows, special events, and marketing campaigns.
- Assist with travel coordination, accommodation bookings, and scheduling meeting as required.
Qualifications Needed:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content creation role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends; able to write effective content for digital channels.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CMS platforms, and SEO tools is a bonus.
- Willingness to travel to company offices, worksites and tradeshows.
- Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be comfortable with occasional use of company vehicles.
- Will be required to attend after-hour Company functions, exhibits/tradeshows, meetings, etc.
