Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Handling:
  • Fill containers such as 16L jibs, 200L drums, and IBCs (totes) accurately and efficiently.
  • Load and unload bulk liquid products from tanker trucks and railcars.
  • Monitor product flow and ensure proper sealing, labeling, and documentation.
  1. Equipment Operation:
  • Operate forklifts and other handling equipment for moving materials and containers.
  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
  1. Food Safety & Compliance:
  • Follow all food safety protocols, including HACCP and GMP standards, during handling and processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the work area and equipment to meet food-grade requirements.
  1. Physical Labor:
  • Lift and carry materials up to 25 lbs as part of daily operations.
  • Ensure safe lifting techniques and adherence to ergonomic practices.
  1. General Duties:
  • Assist with offloading railcars and ensuring products are stored or transferred correctly.
  • Handle basic troubleshooting of filling equipment and escalate issues as needed.
  • Complete required documentation for each shift, such as logs and product tracking forms.

Qualifications:

  • Valid forklift license with hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with filling and bulk liquid handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices (HACCP, GMP, etc.).
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and work in an industrial environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.

Work Environment:

  • Industrial setting with exposure to bulk liquid handling and various temperature conditions.
  • Use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures is required.
