Scrum Master / PM with Development Background (Contract Position)

Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 6 months

Location: Oakville, ON, CA

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Hybrid position, 2-3d/w in office in Oakville, ON mandatory, no exceptions

Roles and responsibilities

Scrum Master / PM Leading 2 small development teams, will be focused on delivery

Pushing the project forward

Working with business and technical teams to make sure the solutions work

Developing Cloud Native functions and solutions

Prefers candidates from a start up

Candidates from a banking background are not preferred

Highly organized and detail oriented

Can lead 2-3 projects concurrently

Excellent communication skills

Must have experience / skills/qualifications

5-10 years of experience, ideally having experience working in large tech-first companies

Has experience leading and driving a small software team of 5-9 individuals

Proficient with SDLC process

Proficient with Agile Software Development - Kanban, Scrum

Possess a technical background and has led teams to build cloud native applications. Experience with Azure. Possibly wrote code at some point in their career

Capable of reviewing UI designs, requirements, and test cases to ensure they're done accurately and with high quality

Hands on and will write requirements, test cases if needed, or participate in user acceptance testing. Essentially, someone that will fill in the gaps for the project team when required

Capable of developing a relationship with the business to foster collaboration and support their ongoing requirements
