New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an experienced BizTalk Developer to support a large-scale healthcare transformation project focused on modernizing core clinical information systems. The successful candidate will work as part of a team implementing interfaces between the Meditech Expanse platform and over 50 ancillary systems. This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical knowledge, healthcare integration experience, and excellent collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead interface development activities for Meditech Expanse integration using BizTalk.
• Analyze technical specifications and vendor documentation to support interface development.
• Collaborate with the Integration Project Lead to ensure timelines, risks, and deliverables are communicated and escalated appropriately.
• Develop, test, and debug interfaces per defined specifications and development standards.
• Create technical documentation and artifacts that align with organizational policies.
• Identify, document, and communicate risks, constraints, and considerations relevant to integration development.
• Participate in internal and external project meetings to provide status updates and align on goals.
• Assist in broader integration activities as required by the Integration Lead and Program Leadership.
• Support effective knowledge transition to internal resources throughout the engagement.

Requirements:

• 5 years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft BizTalk (2016).
• Strong understanding of HL7v2 messaging standards (mandatory).
• Proficiency in C#, .NET 4.6, Visual Studio 2015, and SQL Server 2016.
• Experience working on healthcare integration projects, preferably within large environments.
• Previous involvement in large-scale clinical systems such as Meditech or equivalent.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles and DevOps practices (preferably Azure DevOps On-Premise).
• Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Knowledge of FHIR and APIs is an asset.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills within a multi-disciplinary project team.
• Experience working in large team environments on complex projects.
