About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing Manager with deep expertise in CRM and a passion for driving customer engagement and retention. You'll lead CRM strategy and campaigns while also overseeing our events program and a small marketing team. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with high visibility across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
60% - CRM Strategy & Execution
Own and evolve our CRM strategy, leveraging HubSpot to deliver targeted, personalized customer journeys that drive engagement and revenue.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and IT to develop and optimize lifecycle marketing programs, triggered campaigns, and dynamic content.
Champion a test-and-learn approach through A/B testing and campaign optimization.
Analyze and report on performance metrics-open rates, CTR, conversions-to refine messaging and customer segmentation strategies.
Act as a subject matter expert for CRM best practices, email marketing, and customer retention initiatives.
Develop campaign briefs, timelines, and documentation to ensure alignment across teams.
Support management in developing customer growth and retention models (i.e., acquire, retain, grow, win-back strategies).
25% - Event Marketing & Execution
Lead planning and execution of trade shows, educational seminars, and customer-facing events-primarily in Ontario.
Develop integrated marketing plans to promote events, capture leads, and support the Sales team with compelling pre-, during-, and post-event content.
Manage vendor relationships, coordinate logistics, and oversee event marketing materials.
Track and optimize event ROI to ensure alignment with business goals.
Occasionally attend events in-person to support execution and post-event debriefs.
15% - People Leadership
Manage and mentor a growing team of 1-2 Marketing Specialists responsible for content, social media, and event coordination.
Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture where creativity and performance thrive.
What You Bring
5+ years of marketing experience, with 3+ years in CRM, preferably in a B2B or healthcare setting.
Proven success in designing and executing customer retention programs.
Deep understanding of email marketing KPIs and strategies, including segmentation, personalization, and automation.
Hands-on experience with HubSpot (strong asset), Salesforce, Marketo, or similar CRM platforms.
Experience with data visualization or analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Domo, Tableau).
Strong project management skills with the ability to drive alignment across departments.
2+ years of people management experience, with a passion for team mentorship and development.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience creating digital and social content for B2B audiences.
Knowledge of email coding (HTML, CSS) and testing tools.
Familiarity with WordPress and web optimization.
Understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., CASL, GDPR).
