Data Engineer - DATA LAKE (Contract Position)

Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 8 months with possible extension

Location: Saint-Eustache, QC, CA

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Hybrid position, a minimum of 2d/w in office

Must have skills/experience/qualifications

A minimum of 5+yrs of the following

MS Azure, Azure DATA LAKE

Data Ingestion: Collect and ingest data from various sources (structured/semi-structured/unstructured) and ensure its cleansing, transformation, and preparation for effective use in Power BI. Must be able to work in a medallion data lake architecture (bronze, silver, gold)

Proficiency in Python, Spark, Microsoft Fabric/Databricks, Data Factory

Proficiency in Purview is desirable

Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, NoSQL)

Knowledge of data modeling practices, must follow data architecture

Knowledge of APIs and data integration

Knowledge of the data product concept
