Insight Global is looking for an IT Operations Specialist to join a leading insurance company on a contract basis. You will be part of the digital operations team to support a large customer facing website. Responsibilities will include supporting command centre readiness (runbooks escalation paths, dry runs, and monitoring alignment), updating incident support diagrams, updating Service Level Agreements, verifying Splunk/Dynatrace logging and observability, and ensuring L1/L2/L3 incident teams and their support tools/processes are documented. This will involve collaboration between different teams to meet tight deadlines.
Must Haves:
- Strong working knowledge of ITIL v4 foundations and service transition processes
- Hands-on experience with digital platform or web application operations support
- Comfortable with Confluence, Microsoft Products (Visio, SharePoint, Powerpoint) and interpreting output using observability tools
- Highly organized with a bias for action, able to drive meetings, track progress, and keep deliverables moving.
Plusses:
- Knowledge of Splunk and Dynatrace observability tools
- Insurance background
