We're looking for a driven and technically minded Technical Sales Consultant to join our growing field sales team and cover the Central Ontario territory. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative B2B sales environment, enjoys solving industrial maintenance challenges, and is ready to build strong relationships with clients across a wide range of industries.
You'll be based from home and spend most of your time in the field, supported by our experienced team in Richmond Hill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive profitable growth by expanding sales to existing customers and opening new accounts through proactive prospecting and cold calling.
- Identify and engage with new leads in target sectors, building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with end users, contractors, consultants, and key decision-makers.
- Provide technical support including site inspections, solution recommendations, and hands-on application training for in-house maintenance teams.
- Supervise contractors during critical applications and serve as a liaison to ensure work is completed to standard.
- Develop and maintain a clearly defined Territory Business Plan, aligned with our growth strategies.
- Document project successes and collaborate with the marketing team to create case studies showcasing effective Belzona applications.
- Use CRM and digital tools to manage customer records, track progress, and prepare reports and presentations.
Industries You'll Work With:
- Manufacturing & Processing - Including water utilities, power generation, and distribution.
- Heavy Industry - Oil & Gas, refining, chemical processing.
- Public Sector - Municipalities, hospitals, educational institutions, and housing associations.
You'll regularly interact with roles like Operations Managers, Chief Engineers, Plant Managers, Facilities Directors, Health & Safety Officers, and Environmental Engineers.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in business development, cold calling, and B2B technical sales.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, professional presentations to a variety of audiences-from maintenance teams to senior management.
- Self-motivated and independent, with a structured and proactive approach to territory management.
- Industrial or facilities maintenance experience is required; experience in oil & gas or power generation/distribution is a strong asset.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using laptops, CRM systems, and other digital tools for reporting and client communication.
