Remote across Canada Full-Time Angular / TypeScript / JavaScript Direct Hire

ivy Group is working with a fast-growing Canadian company in the cloud storage and collaboration space - trusted by over 2 million users worldwide. They're building out their engineering leadership and looking for a Senior Frontend Developer, reporting to the CTO, to own architecture, lead UI direction, and drive cross-platform experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading frontend development across web, mobile, and desktop apps
• Building high-performing UIs using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Collaborating with product and design to ship intuitive experiences
• Setting technical direction and mentoring other developers
• Improving UX through data from Sentry.io, Mixpanel, and user feedback
• Managing a small dev team and contributing to architecture decisions

What You Bring:

• 8+ years of frontend development experience
• Advanced skills in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Experience mentoring or leading development teams
• Strong understanding of UX, performance optimization, and component architecture
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education and Certifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred, however but equivalent experience building and scaling frontend systems is just as valuable.
• Nice to have certifications: Google Mobile Web Specialist; Certified JavaScript Developer; Microsoft Certified: Web Developer Associate; UX Design certifications (e.g., NN/g, Interaction Design Foundation)
