Our challenge

We are looking for a Senior Frontend developer who has ability to work on complex projects, mentor junior developers, and make strategic architectural decisions, while emphasizing their expertise in Angular and related technologies.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Toronto, ON is CAD $110k - CAD $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in Angular applications.
• Write and execute unit tests and end-to-end tests.
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and performant code.
• Refactor and migrate legacy codebases.
• Develop and implement new features.
• Create and maintain documentation.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to the development of new deployment patterns.

Requirements:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Angular applications.
• Proficiency in Angular 7+ (or latest version) and TypeScript.
• Experience with Angular CLI, Angular Material, and related libraries.
• Deep understanding of Angular routing, state management (e.g., NgRx), and reactive programming (RxJS).
• Familiarity with AOT compilation and lazy loading for performance optimization.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience in financial services domain.
