Role: Snowflake Developer

Location: Mississauga, ON

Job Description:

• Mandatory: at least 5+ years in a client-facing lead role as technical leader guiding clients through solution-building. Of those years, at least the most recent two years on Snowflake.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence
• 2+ years of hands-on experience using Snowflake. (Note: specific hands-on Snowflake experience will be verified at interview)
• Worked on Data warehousing projects and involved in supporting data modelling activities as part of building the data warehouse.
• Strong understanding of data modeling (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design, experience with Operation Data Stores, Enterprise Data warehouses and Data Marts).
• Deep understanding of relational database design concepts and SQL programming
• Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing design principles and industry best practices

Good to have

• 5+ years- work experience as a hands-on ETL Developer or Data Engineer similar role.
• Experience in AWS.
• Experience of working in Multivendor Cloud based application tailored environment
