About the Job

We are seeking a proactive and technically adept Technical Support Engineer (TSE) to join our team. In this role, you will be the frontline support for our B2B customers, providing technical assistance and ensuring the optimal performance of our PCB and PCBA solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting, resolving issues, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance via telephone, email, or other communication channels.
  • Field questions related to user inquiries on computer software or hardware and present appropriate solutions.
  • Enter diagnostic commands and verify system operation through observation to detect and resolve errors.
  • Monitor the day-to-day performance of computers and systems to ensure stability and uptime.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in our core technologies and product offerings.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, building confidence and trust.
  • Actively listen to customer concerns, ask pertinent questions, and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain ownership of customer issues from initial report through resolution, ensuring timely updates and communication.
  • Educate customers on the company's products and services, enhancing their understanding and usage.
  • Document and report product issues, collaborating with internal teams to address and resolve them.
  • Identify and document issues related to product specifications, design, reliability, or maintenance, and communicate them to the appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of work experience in a technical support capacity supporting B2B customers.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills for diverse issues in high-pressure, complex, multi-platform environments.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change , communicate positively, and work proactively.
  • Excellent professional, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to capture all details in written form fluidly during conversations. Communication is assertive, articulate, and friendly while building confidence across all stakeholders you work with.
  • Strong attention to detail
