As we continue to grow our B2B and custom clothing business, we're looking for a highly organized and motivated Production Assistant to join our team. As the Production Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our Production Manager on all B2B and custom clothing projects. You'll help manage the logistics and coordination of these projects from initial conversations with clients to concept development, all the way to final delivery. Your work will involve communicating with clients, vendors, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to ensure timelines are met, quality is upheld and most importantly the client is happy. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about the apparel industry.

Responsibilities

• Communitcating with clients, understanding their product needs and presenting project quotes based on supplied budgets.

• Assist in the execution of B2B and custom clothing projects from start to finish

• Create and update tech packs using Adobe Illustrator or similar software

• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners

• Track project timelines, production schedules, and delivery deadlines

• Handle every stage of shipping and logistics for a project: Shipping from manufacturers, receiving at our studio and delievery to the client.

• Organize and manage samples, materials, trims and production approvals

• Maintain accurate records of all communication and updates related to each project

• Support with sourcing and development of custom fabrics, trims, and packaging

• Help ensure all products meet brand standards in quality, fit, and design

• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external production partners

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in apparel production, product development, or a similar role

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and experience creating tech packs

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Sales experience an asset

• Experience with shipping, receiving and overall logistics.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously

• Knowledge of the clothing production process and garment construction

• Passion for Canadian manufacturing and the fashion industry

• Experience working in B2B or private label clothing projects

• Lover of sweatpants but not afraid to break a sweat.
