The Work

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Personal Banking Growth, the Associate Manager, Lifecycle Marketing is responsible for supporting key engagement initiatives and managing the end-to-end implementation and evaluation of product marketing campaigns and automated lifecycle journeys for EQ Bank. This role plays a hands-on role in executing customer-facing communications to drive engagement KPIs - including customer onboarding and activation, deposit balance growth, product / feature adoption, and primary banking behaviors while leveraging creative resources, analytics and CX insights.

The Core Responsibilities!

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of marketing initiatives to support onboarding, funding, product adoption, and deposit growth.
  • Build and optimize automated customer journeys across lifecycle stages, including message development, testing, and reporting.
  • Manage the creative development process including writing of creative briefs and ensure flawless execution of marketing campaigns. Work closely with internal agency, product partners and legal/compliance to deliver innovative and impactful programs for our customer base
  • Use data-driven analysis and customer insights to tests messaging and channels to continuously improve performance.
  • Be a customer advocate within EQ Bank marketing team, ensuring the highest quality interactions with the customer across all lifecycle stages and channels.
  • Work with various stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, Contact Centre and Operations to ensure alignment on customer communication and timing
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Care, CX and Product teams to identify and alleviate customer pain points and ensure an omni-channel customer experience.

Let's Talk About You!

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in lifecycle or email marketing and familiarity with CRM software (i.e. MS Dynamics or Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and CASL regulations.
  • Strong understanding of customer communication principles, including clarity, tone, and relevance across lifecycle journeys, email campaigns, and other marketing touchpoints.
  • Experience developing clear, focused creative briefs and providing actionable feedback that translates campaign objectives into effective, high-impact marketing communications.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into business insights through campaigns and A/B testing.
  • Passion for customer insights and communications to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent time management skills - ability to effectively manage, prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring the Senior Manager, Personal Banking Growth has an appropriate level of awareness/detail on projects to support.
  • Self-starter - capable of managing projects independently and building relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • Strong verbal, written and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment using agile methodologies to continuously launch and iterate on programs.
  • Track record of delivering key business results
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Commerce or related experience.
  • Financial Services experience would be an asset.
