Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of System Implementation & IT to lead our ERP implementation and broader technology transformation initiatives. This pivotal role will drive the successful deployment of our ERP system, aligning it closely with finance and operational processes to improve efficiency, data integrity, and decision-making. The ideal candidate brings financial/operational expertise, a strong background in ERP systems, and a proven track record of successful implementation in a dynamic business environment. The role also includes oversight of our in-house IT team and the implementation of innovative technologies-including AI-to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Implementation Leadership

  • Act as the lead on the ERP project team, partnering with IT, operations, sales, finance and external consultants.
  • Define the ERP roadmap, implementation strategy, and project milestones aligned with budget and timelines.
  • Ensure robust integration between ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, CRM, etc.) and other critical business systems.
  • Translate financial requirements into system functionality and ensure they are embedded into the ERP design.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, workflows, and user manuals.
  • Drive effective project governance, reporting, risk management, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting post go-live; continuously identify areas for system improvement and optimization.
  • Monitor KPIs post-implementation to assess ROI and continuous improvement opportunities.

Process Improvement

  • Assess existing financial and operational processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and control enhancement.
  • Align reporting structures and workflows with ERP capabilities to support scalable growth and compliance.
  • Promote continuous improvement and best practices across all financial and operational functions
  • Lead the evaluation and integration of AI-driven tools to optimize processes and increase efficiency.

Change Management & Training

  • Champion organizational change management, fostering user adoption and stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for ERP users across departments.
  • Serve as a key liaison between finance, IT, operations, sales, and ERP vendors to ensure business needs are met.

  • Lead and manage a self-sufficient internal IT team.
  • Oversee the company's IT infrastructure including servers, networks, hardware, software, and cybersecurity

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science or related field
  • Post graduate degree or professional designation desirable
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior role
  • Minimum 3-5 years direct experience leading or heavily involved in ERP implementation
  • Good understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects
  • Special considerations will be made for candidates that have prior experience with NetSuite
