Role: Business Analyst with GL Recon/DGS, OFSAA

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GL Recon/DGS, OFSAA, Regulatory Reporting, and Business Analysis & Planning. This role involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts and no travel requirements. The candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes and providing strategic insights to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the development team
• Good knowledge of GL Recon/DGS, OSFI Regulatory space and Regulatory Reporting
• Utilize OFSAA to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
• Strong experience working with OFSAA modules OFSI, FSDF, CAP, GL Recon specifically on implementing Basel 3, Large Exposure framework requirements
• Strong data lineage and STTM experience. Basic understanding of accounting process and accounting events (skills to accommodate EBA)
• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Develop and implement business plans to achieve organizational goals.
• Apply the CRAFT Work Model to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and training to team members on business analysis best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with business processes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in business analysis and financial technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and tools
