The Role:

We're seeking a driven and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our team and lead our technology vision. As our CTO, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our platform, driving product development, and shaping the future of our company. You will be responsible for:

• Product Development: Enhancing and expanding the features of our flagship product, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Technical Leadership: Driving the architectural design, development, and implementation of our technology stack.
• Team Building: Eventually building and leading a high-performing engineering team.
• Client Integrations: Overseeing and managing technical integrations with our clients.
• Investor & Client Relations: Participating in investor and client meetings, providing technical expertise and presentations.
• Security & Compliance: Ensuring SOC 2 compliance and maintaining robust security practices.
• Strategic Planning: Contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of proven experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and scalable systems.
• Experience with SOC 2 compliance and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Canadian or American Citizenship is a must.
• Insurtech experience is a plus.
• AI experience is a plus.
• Rapid iteration with Cursor/Windsurf/Lovable experience is a plus.
