Job Title: SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Duration: Long Term Position

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position)

Required Skills

• SDET with 10+ years of overall experience and minimum 3-6 years of enterprise software development experience, with technical knowledge in any of environments (cloud, services/APIs, distributed or mainframe, business workflows and databases)
• Experience with defining Test strategy and test approach for Agile and Non-agile projects.
• Good experience in Software development and Design
• Hands-on Java programming experience and source code configuration tools (GIT, SVN, MKS)
• Some experience in Database technologies (e.g. MongoDB, DB2, SQL, IMS)
• Document Test artifacts in HP ALM/Jira/Qtest Manager.

Nice to have Skills:

• Hands on expertise in a variety of automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, LeanFT, Robot Framework, TestNG, SOAPUI), and script development using scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Working knowledge in service virtualization and creating stubs with tools Para Soft, Wire Mock, RIT
• Experience reviewing artefacts including code reviews (application and test automation scripts)
• Some experience with non-functional testing (performance, UI/UX, Accessibility, etc.)
• Experience in DevOps operations including CI/CD principles, understanding of Automated build/deploy process through Jenkins.
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages.
