We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Estimating to lead the estimating department for one of our clients. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all estimating functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with project goals. The VP will work closely with project managers, operations, and executive leadership to drive cost-effective solutions and improve bid success rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimating team, promoting collaboration and high performance
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and competitive project estimates
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to assess risks and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Partner with internal teams to ensure estimates reflect project objectives and timelines
• Implement and refine estimating tools, processes, and best practices
• Monitor market trends and pricing to maintain competitive edge
• Support strategic planning with forecasting and cost analysis

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in roofing estimating and cost control
• Strong background in budgeting and project management
• Solid knowledge of construction industry standards and practices
• Proven leadership and team development skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Clear, confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
