Typical Day in the Role

• Use Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce to track system changes and author test scenarios.

• Partner with developers to understand functional and technical changes.

• Plan, execute, and document test cases to ensure high-quality delivery in a QAT environment.

• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and QA leads to validate features and provide feedback.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate in testing Salesforce Financial Services Cloud solutions.

• Design and execute manual test plans, scenarios, and scripts.

• Test and validate system modifications and enhancements before deployment.

• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and results reports.

• Use Jira to log and track defects; provide thorough documentation for each issue.

• Analyze test results and report findings, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Track and follow up on bug fixes and ensure their resolution.

• Plan and manage testing schedules aligned with sprint/project timelines.

Must-Have Skills

1. 0-2 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance/testing.

2. Practical experience using Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce platforms.

3. Strong abilities in writing and maintaining test documentation (e.g., test cases, test scripts, test results).

4. Ability to interpret test results and suggest solutions for quality improvement.

Education

• Associate's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
