JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight global is looking for an Quality Integration Engineer to join one of the top banks in Toronto. This person will lead and manage all quality validation activities, develop and maintain test strategies and cases, and manage all testing artifacts through Jira. They will be responsible for executing function, end-to-end regression and readiness testing activities. The role is expected to proactively identify and resolve defects of vendor deliverables and any related integration aspects, champion quality engineering best practices, and drive continuous improvement of validation processes. Prior experience in banking or financial services is beneficial.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years in quality engineering, systems integration testing, or related fields
• Hands-on experience leading quality validation efforts for technology initiatives
• Strong experience validating vendor deliverables, API integrations, backend systems, file transfers, and other third-party integrations
• Proficiency with API testing tools such as Karate, Postman, SOAP UI, or similar
• Proficiency with building and managing Selenium based tests
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Powershell and Python
• Knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of software defect management and reporting practices
• Experience validation deliverables and integrations in both Waterfall and Agile project environments

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Exposure to production monitoring tools (Splunk, Azure Analytics)
• ISTQB certification
• Financial services background
