Job Description: Business Analyst - ERP Implementation

We are a boutique consulting firm specializing in delivering ERP solutions to industrial businesses. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the implementation, upgrade, and ongoing support of an ERP system with an Industrial Manufacturing Client. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong project-based experience in industrial sectors such as energy, oil and gas, or manufacturing, who has acted as a Business Analyst on previous ERP implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design tailored ERP solutions and workflows.
• Partner with implementation teams to plan, set up, and deliver ERP projects and programs.
• Assist in the implementation and upgrade of an ERP, ensuring alignment with client business needs.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating functional requirements into technical deliverables.
• Conduct gap analyses, process mapping, and system testing to optimize ERP configurations.
• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to stakeholders and end-users.
• Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency through ERP functionality.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst with hands-on experience supporting ERP implementations, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Proven track record in project-based roles, preferably in industrial or asset-intensive sectors such as energy, oil and gas, or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of related ERP modules, including finance, supply chain, manufacturing, or project management.
• Demonstrated experience managing project tasks, such as work estimation, inventory analysis, invoice reporting, and resource allocation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills-able to engage and align business and technical audiences.
