Position Title: Accounts Specialist - Loss Mitigation
Length of Contract: 12 months
Physical Working Location: Meadowvale, ON or Montreal, QC (hybrid- must go into the office once a month)
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 11 AM - 7 PM / 12 PM - 8 PM (weekend availability preferred)
Pay Rate: $25.96/hr.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Accounts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will proactively contact clients who are not yet in collections or past due, but have been identified as high-risk for future delinquency. Your mission is to deliver financial wellness support by offering personalized solutions that promote long-term account health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make 50-60 outbound calls per day to engage bank customers in meaningful financial wellness conversations.
- Educate customers on available options to maintain their accounts in good standing.
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in every interaction, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Proactively offer preventive solutions to help clients avoid future delinquency.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and proposed solutions.
- Meet individual performance metrics and team goals.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bilingual in both French/English (read, write, and speak).
- 2-3 years of experience in collections.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service or call center experience.
- Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to express empathy, patience, and understanding.
- Proven ability to maintain a positive tone and high engagement in high-volume call environments.
Education:
- High School diploma required.
