About the Role
Airswift is working with one of our major clients in the Oil & Gas industry to find a Measurement Analyst I to join their team in Calgary, AB.
This is a 1 year contract with the possibility of extension.
This role is critical to the accurate and timely processing of gas volume and compositional measurement data. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensure regulatory and contractual compliance, and provide backup support for other key commercial functions such as nominations, scheduling, and customer service.
Qualifications and Skills
• Post-secondary education, preferably in Business or Science;

Key Responsibilities
• Accountable for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of hourly volumetric and compositional data electronically populated in the company's measurement software.
• Complete the month end cycle for all volumetric and compositional data within set timelines and deadlines for both internal and external customers.
• Continuous collaboration with external customers; internal stakeholders: Customer Service Group, field personnel, measurement technicians and Measurement Technical Services to investigate and resolve metering issues and discrepancies in a timely manner while maintaining all historical records.
• Maintaining and adhering to procedures and policies by ensuring all documentation and filing is complete, up to date and auditable with regards to adjustment of GMAS/Sightline data.
• Provide coverage for other measurement analysts as needed.
• Participation in project testing and user acceptance, execution; recommend improvements to existing processes, provide some subject matter expertise.
• Create and maintain configuration of all data required in measurement software.
• Provide backup and support to other critical daily commercial activities, specifically, complete all critical daily gas cycles within set timelines; ensure nominations are scheduled accurately in accordance with Gas Industry Standards Board (GISB) guidelines, prepare firm service agreements and circulate through internal and external stakeholders for review and execution.
Additional Information:
- Shift work may be required for this role, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Shift times are M-F 7 am -3:30 pm or 11 am -7:30 pm and Sat/Sun 7am -7pm.
- Gas day coverage is 12.5 hours per day, 365 days per year.
