About the Role

A critical role is available for a Measurement Analyst to support daily commercial functions in natural gas pipeline operations. This position ensures the accuracy and timeliness of gas volume and compositional data, while also providing backup for key commercial processes such as nominations, scheduling, and contract administration. The role directly impacts business operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and maintain hourly gas volume and compositional data in measurement systems.
  • Complete month-end data cycles on time for internal and external reporting.
  • Collaborate with field personnel, customer service, and technical teams to resolve metering discrepancies.
  • Maintain audit-ready records and ensure compliance with internal data adjustment policies.
  • Configure and manage measurement data in specialized software platforms.
  • Provide support for daily gas scheduling and nominations, ensuring alignment with GISB standards.
  • Assist with service agreement preparation and stakeholder coordination.
  • Participate in testing, user acceptance, and improvement initiatives for measurement and commercial systems.
  • Support team coverage and share subject matter expertise as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Science, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new systems and processes.
  • Organizational and documentation skills suited to compliance-driven environments.
