Job Description:Overview:
The International Admissions Advisor is responsible for recruiting and converting prospective international students for admission to Canadian colleges and universities. This role involves engaging with leads (provided by the company), advising students on program options, guiding them through the application process, and ultimately converting them into enrolled students. The position offers a base salary + commission structure, rewarding successful conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Recruitment & Sales Conversion:
- Engage with prospective international students via phone, email, video calls, and chat.
- Follow up on provided leads, assess student needs, and recommend suitable programs/institutions.
- Guide students through admission requirements, visa processes, and program selection.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed applications and enrollments.
- Consultative Sales Approach:
- Build rapport with students and parents, addressing concerns about studying in Canada.
- Present various academic options (diplomas, degrees, certificates) based on student profiles.
- Overcome objections and negotiate incentives (scholarships, discounts) when applicable.
- Lead Management & Follow-Up:
- Maintain a structured follow-up system to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
- Track interactions and conversions in a CRM system.
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly enrollment targets.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with admissions teams, marketing, and partner institutions.
- Provide feedback on lead quality and market trends.
- Report on conversion rates, challenges, and successes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, admissions, or student recruitment (preferably in international education).
- Strong persuasive communication and consultative selling skills.
- Knowledge of Canadian study permits, programs, and post-secondary institutions.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment (base salary + commission).
- Multilingual skills (preferred but not mandatory).
